Publishing Conversation AI and Voice AI Templates to the Marketplace

Creating a Marketplace Listing

Agency Owners and Admins can list their Conversation AI or Voice AI agents on the Marketplace for other users to purchase and install. Sub-account admins and users do not have access to this feature.

Navigate to your Conversation AI or Voice AI page, select the agent you wish to sell, and click Sell this Template/Agent on Marketplace. Carefully define what components are included with your agent so buyers understand what will install automatically versus what requires their configuration.

Knowledge Base (Optional): You can choose to Include or Exclude the agent's Knowledge Base during publishing. If included, it is bundled and installs automatically for the buyer.

The template package includes the agent's prompts, configured actions (like triggering a workflow or creating an appointment), and all underlying assets such as workflows, calendars, and custom fields/values. You are selling the complete operational package. Important: Ensure no assets you are packaging were imported as part of an IP-protected snapshot, as these restricted assets cannot be included.

After configuring these options, you will be redirected to the Developer Portal with a unique link containing your agent's package data. To update an existing marketplace listing, make your changes to the agent on the Conversation AI or Voice AI page, click Copy Link for Marketplace, and then update the link in the Developer Portal.

Complete Your App Details

In the Developer Portal, navigate to Modules → ConversationAI or Voice AI. Paste your generated link into the provided field and click Submit to fetch your agent's data.

You can then edit the following fields:

  • Use-cases (e.g., lead qualification, appointment booking)
  • Agent Description
  • Available actions (e.g., workflows, appointments, SMS blasts, call transfers)

You can also configure a list of suggested questions that potential buyers can ask while testing your agent on the Marketplace before making a purchase.

The supported channels (e.g., SMS, email, Instagram, calls) will be displayed for review but are not editable here.

Finalize and Submit

Complete all required information in your app's Basic Info, App Profile, Pricing, and Support sections. Once finished, submit your listing for review. After approval, it will be published live in the Marketplace, accessible to all agency users and sub-accounts.

Managing Template Versions

Conversation AI and Voice AI templates now follow the standard Marketplace app-versioning workflow. Changes to templates are tied to app versions and are no longer edited directly on a live version, providing a clearer release history and more controlled updates.

Updating Templates Through a Draft Version

You cannot directly edit a template on a live app version. To make changes, follow this process:

  1. Go to Manage > Versions.
  2. Clone the current Live version to create a new Draft version.
  3. Make your desired changes to the Conversation AI or Voice AI template within this Draft version.
  4. Publish the Draft version using the appropriate version bump (major or minor).

This ensures all template updates are released through the same controlled versioning process as other Marketplace app changes.

Major vs. Minor Version Updates

Most modifications to an existing AI Agent template are considered Minor updates. This category includes changes to:

  • Agent name
  • Agent description
  • Use case
  • Supported channels
  • Actions
  • Template configuration
  • Template link changes
  • Disabling or re-enabling an existing template link

A Major version update is required when you are adding a Conversation AI template or Voice AI template to an existing Live app for the very first time. For example, if your Live app currently has no AI template and you add one in a Draft version, you must publish that update as a Major version because it introduces new module capabilities.
