Creating Tasks Within Campaigns

This feature allows you to automatically generate tasks for yourself or your team members as part of a campaign's sequence. When a contact reaches a specific point in the campaign, the CRM can create a task, ensuring timely follow-up actions are not overlooked.

How to Add a Task Event to a Campaign

Follow these steps to configure a task within your campaign sequence:

1. Navigate to the Campaigns section of your CRM and open the specific campaign you wish to edit.
2. Within the campaign builder, locate and click on the Add Event button.
3. From the menu of available events, select Task.
4. A configuration panel will appear. Here, you can define the details of the task that will be created.

Configuring the Task Details

When setting up the task event, you will need to provide the following information:

• Task Title: Enter a descriptive name for the task that will help the assignee understand what action is required.
• Due Date: Specify when the task is due. You can set it for a specific number of days after the event triggers or choose a fixed date.
• Assign To: Select the user or team member who will be responsible for completing this task. You can assign it to yourself or another user in the system.
• Priority: Set the task's priority level (e.g., Low, Medium, High) to indicate its importance.
• Description (Optional): Add any additional notes, context, or instructions for the person assigned to the task.

Once you have filled in all the necessary fields, click Save to add the task event to your campaign sequence. The task will be created automatically for the assigned user when a contact progresses to that step in the campaign.

• Use clear and actionable titles for tasks to ensure quick understanding.
• Set realistic due dates that give team members adequate time to act.
• Consider using task priorities to help your team manage their workload effectively.
• Leverage the description field to include links to relevant contact records, notes from previous interactions, or specific scripts to use.
