Manage Community Groups and Course Offers in Contacts
Overview
The CRM now allows you to manage Community Groups and Course Offers directly from the Contacts section. This integration simplifies organizing contacts, assigning offers, and handling password resets, making your workflow more efficient.
Key Features
Assign Offers to Contacts
You can now assign offers like Courses or Community Groups to any contact directly from the Contacts page. This streamlines managing deals, promotions, or enrollments without navigating away.
Organize Contacts with Groups
Add contacts to relevant Community Groups right from the Contacts page. This helps you segment audiences for targeted campaigns or manage group memberships from a single, centralized location.
Manage User Passwords
Admins can handle password-related tasks for contacts. You can set a new password directly or send a password reset link via email for secure account recovery.
Step-by-Step Guide
Navigate to Contacts
Go to the Contacts section in your CRM and select the contact you want to manage.
View Client Portal or Courses
Depending on your location settings, you may see either:
- A Courses section (if Courses are enabled)
- A Client Portal section (if the Client Portal is enabled), which includes Community Groups
Assign Offers
After selecting a contact, choose from available offers—either Courses or Community Groups—to assign. Confirm your selections to apply the changes.
Manage Groups
Use the Community Groups option to add the contact to specific groups. This simplifies organizing contacts for campaigns or notifications.
Handle Passwords
From the Contacts page, you can:
- Set a new password directly for the contact
- Send a password reset link via email, allowing the user to reset their password securely
Notes
If Courses are enabled for a location, the Contacts page displays the Courses section instead of the Client Portal. If the Client Portal is enabled, Community Groups are included for easier management. Assigning group access through Contacts bypasses any additional join questions or payment requirements—members gain direct access to the groups.
