Customizing Your Community Group's Appearance

The appearance of your community group can be customized to match your brand or personal style. You can change the theme, which controls colors and visual elements, for both light and dark viewing modes. You have the option to select a ready-made theme or design your own from scratch.

Accessing Theme Settings

Only group owners and administrators can change the theme. To get started, you need to access the group settings.

  1. Within your community group, locate and click on SETTINGS in the sidebar.
  2. In the settings menu, select the option for Themes.

Selecting a Predefined Theme

You can quickly change the look of your group by choosing an existing theme. This is a great way to differentiate between multiple groups you manage.

  • In the Themes section, you'll find tabs for switching between Light Mode and Dark Mode.
  • Navigate to the Communities theme tab to see a list of available themes.
  • Click on any theme to preview it. The theme will be applied to your group's interface immediately upon selection.

Note: Theme changes are visible on the web version of your CRM but are not reflected in the mobile app.

Creating a Custom Theme

For complete control, you can create a custom color scheme. You must configure settings separately for Light Mode and Dark Mode.

  1. Go to the Custom Themes tab within the Themes settings.
  2. You will see a list of interface elements you can customize, each with a color swatch. Available options typically include:
    • Sidebar Background: The background color for the side panel.
    • Primary: The main brand color, often used for buttons.
    • Background Surface: The base color for cards, modals, and similar elements.
    • Tertiary: Colors for links, radio buttons, and checkboxes.
    • Surface: The base background color of the main interface.
    • Primary Font and Secondary Font: Colors for main text and secondary context text.
    • Fill color and Hover color: For interactive elements.
    • Borders: Color for all borders and dividers.
    • Error: Color used for error messages and states.
  3. Click on any color swatch to open a color picker, where you can choose a new color or enter a specific hex code.
  4. After making your changes, be sure to click the SAVE button to apply them.

What Group Members See

Members of your community group will see the theme you have selected or customized. From their own account settings, members can independently choose to view the group in either Light Mode or Dark Mode, regardless of the theme colors you have set.
