Add Custom Templates to Your CRM Template Library
Custom Templates Setup
The Template Library organizes templates by product type, such as email campaigns, funnels, and workflows. Agency Administrators can contribute custom templates to these libraries for use across subaccounts.
Requirements
- Your agency must be subscribed to the $497/month Pro plan.
- The Template Library feature must be enabled in Agency Account > Settings > Company > Template Library for Clients.
- You must have Agency Admin user permissions to upload templates.
Add a Custom Template
Step 1: Navigate to the Correct Product
The Template Library displays templates for one product at a time. Go to the specific product area where you want to add a template:
- Marketing Products: For Social Planner posts, go to Marketing > Social Planner > Content tab > CSV tab. Click the three-dot menu next to an item and select Upload to social templates. For email templates, navigate to Marketing > Emails > Templates tab, find your template, click the three-dot menu, and choose Upload to email templates.
- Automation Products: For Workflows, go to Automation > Workflows, locate the desired workflow, click the three-dot menu, and select Upload to Template Library.
- Sites Products: For Funnels, Websites, Stores, Blogs, Emails, Forms, Surveys, or Quizzes, navigate to Sites > [Product Name], find your item, click the three-dot menu, and choose Upload to [product] templates.
Step 2: Name and Categorize the Template
In the Upload to [product] templates modal, enter a display name for your template and assign it to a category. Click Upload when ready.
Step 3: Edit Template Details in Admin Mode
You’ll enter admin mode to configure library settings. You can edit:
- Name: The template’s display name.
- Category: Organize templates by type or purpose.
- Preview Cover Image: Upload a thumbnail to visually represent the template.
- Tags: Add searchable keywords to help users find the template.
- Prerequisites: Specify requirements, such as payment integrations or email domains.
- Short Description: A brief summary shown in the Template Library preview.
- Long About: Detailed instructions, use cases, or tips with basic formatting support.
Step 4: Publish the Template
Click Publish Template to make it available to subaccounts. Clients will see it alongside other templates in their library. Agency Admins retain additional management options.
