Configuring Your Personal Notification Preferences

Understanding Notification Settings

Your CRM includes powerful notification settings that let you control how and when you receive alerts about important activities. Whether you need to stay informed about new messages, upcoming tasks, calendar appointments, or other events, you can customize your preferences to match your workflow and reduce unnecessary distractions.

Benefits of Customizing Notifications

  • Centralized control over all notification types and delivery methods
  • Multiple delivery options including web app, desktop, email, and mobile
  • Task reminders to help you meet deadlines
  • Timezone-specific scheduling for daily alerts
  • Click-to-redirect functionality that takes you directly to relevant content
  • Reduced notification fatigue through personalized preferences

How to Configure Your Notification Settings

Access Your Profile Settings

Begin by clicking on Settings in the left-hand sidebar of your workspace. From there, select My Profile to access your personal configuration options.

Once in your profile settings, click on the Notifications tab at the top of the page. This section contains all your notification preferences organized by category and communication channel.

Select Your Preferred Channels

For each notification type, choose your preferred delivery method—In-App, Email, or SMS. You can mix and match channels based on how urgently you need to receive different types of alerts.

Note: Notifications are delivered in your platform language when available. If a translation isn't available, content will appear in English.

Save Your Preferences

After making your selections, click the Save button at the bottom right of the page to apply your changes. Your new preferences will take effect immediately.

Understanding Notification Redirects

When you receive notifications within the web app, you can click on them to be taken directly to the source of the alert. This saves time by eliminating the need to manually navigate to the relevant section.

For example:

  • Conversation notifications redirect to the specific conversation
  • Task notifications take you directly to the task details
  • Calendar appointment alerts open the relevant calendar event

Important Considerations

To receive notifications for a specific sub-account, you must first be added as a user to that account. Users with only "Assigned Data" permissions will not receive alerts about unassigned leads or contacts.

Administrators can review changes to notification preferences by navigating to Sub-Account → Settings → Audit Logs and filtering the Module to Notification Preferences.
