Connect Your Google Business Profile and Facebook Page to Listings
How to Set Up Google Business Profile and Facebook Integration
You can now link your Google Business Profile and Facebook Page directly from the CRM's Listings dashboard. This integration allows you to manage your business information, photos, and reviews in one place, ensuring data consistency across platforms and enhancing your local search visibility.
Step 1: Verify Prerequisites and Permissions
Before you begin the connection process, confirm you have the following:
- Administrator or Owner access to the Google Business Profile you wish to connect.
- Administrator rights for the Facebook Page you plan to link.
- Your browser's pop-up blocker is temporarily disabled for the session.
If you have previously connected either account within the Social Planner tool, the Listings feature will use the existing connection automatically.
Step 2: Access the Listings Dashboard
From the main CRM navigation menu, select Reputation, and then click on Listings. Inside the Listings dashboard, look for the section labeled Your Account and click the link that says, "Your Entities are not set up on Google and Facebook yet. Link Now."
Step 3: Connect Your Google Business Profile
Click the Connect button located next to the option for Google Business Profile. A new window from Google will open, prompting you to sign in. Use the Google account that manages your business profile and grant the necessary permissions to complete the link.
Step 4: Connect Your Facebook Page
Next, click the Connect button next to the Facebook Page option. A Facebook authorization window will appear. Select the specific page you want to connect from the list, accept all permission requests, and click Continue to finalize the setup.
Step 5: Verify the Connection
After successfully linking both accounts, return to the main Listings dashboard view. You should see a green Connected status displayed next to both Google Business Profile and Facebook Page, confirming they are now integrated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does connecting accounts in Listings also connect them for Social Planner?
A: Yes. The CRM uses a single connection token, so authorizing an account in Listings makes it available in Social Planner as well.
Q: Can I connect more than one Facebook Page to a single location?
A: No. Each business location can be linked to only one Facebook Page and one Google Business Profile.
Q: Will my Social Planner posts automatically publish to my Google Business Profile?
A: No. You must specifically select your Google Business Profile as a destination when creating and scheduling each post in Social Planner.
Q: What occurs if I disconnect an account?
A: Synchronization with that publisher will stop immediately. The dashboard will show an Action Required status for that account until it is reconnected.
Q: Do agency users need the client's Facebook login details?
A: No. Agency users who have been granted Admin rights for the specific location within the CRM can establish the connection without needing the client's personal Facebook credentials.
