Control Template Library Visibility for Sub-Accounts

What is Template Library Visibility Control?

Template Library Visibility Control is a feature that allows agency administrators to manage whether a sub-account can access the Template Library and, if access is granted, which specific modules or products within the library are visible. This helps create a more focused and efficient experience for users at the location level by reducing unnecessary clutter and ensuring compliance with agency standards.

Key Benefits

  • Granular Control: Choose to hide the entire library, show everything, or limit visibility to selected modules.
  • Simplified User Experience: Remove irrelevant templates so users only see what they need.
  • Policy Enforcement: Prevent the use of templates that don’t align with agency guidelines.
  • Faster Onboarding: Direct users to approved templates, reducing support requests.
  • Instant Application: Changes take effect immediately after saving.

Access and Permissions

Only agency administrators can configure Template Library visibility settings for sub-accounts. Agency users and admins will always see the Template Library in every location, regardless of these settings. Restrictions apply only to users within the sub-account. Note that System Email templates remain visible to all users at all times.

How to Configure Template Library Visibility

Step 1: Navigate to the Template Library

Log in as an agency admin and go to the Agency Dashboard. From the main menu, select Template Library.

Step 2: Open Template Settings

Click the Settings (gear icon) button located in the top-right corner of the Template Library module.

Step 3: Access Sub-Account Settings

Using the left-side navigation bar, select the Customize for Sub-Account Settings tab.

Step 4: Select a Sub-Account

Use the search box to find the sub-account you want to update. Click the Edit button next to the selected sub-account.

Step 5: Set General Visibility Preferences

Under the General Settings tab, choose one of the following options:

  • Hide: Hides the entire Template Library for the sub-account.
  • Show: Shows the entire Template Library.
  • Hide for specific products: Opens a selector to limit visibility by module (e.g., funnels, websites, stores, forms).

Step 6: Edit Category Visibility (Optional)

Click the Categories tab. Use the product dropdown (e.g., Websites, Funnels, Emails) to select a product. You can then:

  • Toggle Hide all Categories to hide every category for the selected product.
  • Use individual Hide sliders to hide specific categories for that product.
