Exporting Audit Logs

What Are Audit Log Exports?

Audit Log Exports allow you to download filtered activity records from your CRM into a CSV file. This feature is useful for compliance, internal reviews, and investigations, providing a way to store and analyze account actions outside the platform.

Key Benefits

  • Portable Records: Export filtered audit data to CSV for offline storage and analysis.
  • Compliance Support: Maintain records for audits, security reviews, or internal reporting.
  • Background Processing: Export jobs run asynchronously, so you can continue working while files are prepared.
  • Controlled Access: Limit export capabilities to authorized users with specific permissions.
  • Clear Limits: Each export supports up to 500,000 records, and files remain available for 30 days.
  • Traceability: Export requests and downloads are logged within the Audit Logs for accountability.

Permissions

Access to export audit logs is restricted to users with the appropriate permission. By default, agency owners, agency admins, and account admins can manage this access. You can review and adjust permissions in:

  • Agency View: Settings → Team → User Profile
  • Sub-Account View: Settings → My Staff → User Profile

Grant export access only to users who require downloadable audit data for compliance, reporting, or investigations.

The Exports Tab

Once you submit an export request, you can track its progress in the Exports tab within the Audit Logs section. This tab displays the status of each job and provides download links for completed files. It also helps avoid duplicate requests and keeps the export process organized.

Limits and Availability

  • Maximum Records: 500,000 per export
  • Processing: Asynchronous background jobs
  • File Availability: 30 days for download
  • Expired Files: After 30 days, a new export must be requested
  • In-App Retention: Audit logs are retained in the CRM for 60 days
