Getting Started with Companies

Introduction to Companies

The Companies feature in your CRM enables you to manage business relationships at the organizational level, providing a consolidated view of all interactions, tasks, and contacts tied to a specific company. This is especially useful for businesses that engage with multiple individuals from the same organization or need to track company-wide data efficiently.

Create, Edit, and Save Company Details

You can add new companies to your database or update existing records with ease. Essential details such as company name, phone number, email address, website, physical address (including state, city, postal code, and country), and a description can be stored. This centralizes all vital business information, making it readily accessible to your team.

Create and Manage Custom Fields

Tailor the Companies feature to your specific needs by creating custom fields. Track additional data points like industry type, revenue range, or number of employees. Custom fields are simple to set up, edit, and maintain, allowing you to capture personalized information for each company.

Customize the List View

The List View provides an overview of your companies. Use the Manage Fields option to customize which columns are displayed. You can choose to show or hide fields such as Website or State, ensuring you see only the most relevant details at a glance.

Advanced Filters

Narrow down your company records using Advanced Filters. Apply filters to standard fields like City or Email, as well as any custom fields you’ve created. This helps you quickly locate companies based on specific criteria, such as those in a particular industry or location.

Sorting

Organize your company records effortlessly by sorting them based on various fields. You can sort by Company Name, City, State, or other available fields to quickly find the companies most relevant to your current tasks.

Search Across Standard and Custom Fields

The Search functionality allows you to find company records using any standard or custom field. Whether searching by name, phone number, or a custom field value, this feature ensures you can quickly locate the information you need, no matter how large your database grows.

  • Sales Teams: Track potential clients and their details to streamline the sales pipeline.
