How to Copy a Dashboard to Another Sub-Account
About Dashboard Copying
Dashboards are stored within specific sub-accounts in your CRM. You can create a copy of a dashboard within the same sub-account or duplicate it to a different sub-account. This guide explains how to copy a dashboard to another sub-account.
Note: You need access to both the source and target sub-accounts to perform this action. Data sources are not copied along with the dashboard. If the original dashboard uses custom data sources, widgets in the new dashboard may appear broken and require reconnection.
Steps to Copy a Dashboard
Step 1: Start the Copy Process
Go to your CRM’s dashboard section. Locate the dashboard you want to copy, click the action menu (three dots) next to it, and select Duplicate to another sub-account.
Step 2: Name and Select the Destination
A window will appear prompting you to enter a name for the new dashboard and choose the target sub-account from the dropdown menu. Click Duplicate to create the copy.
Step 3: Review and Fix Widgets
After copying, check the new dashboard. If any widgets relied on data sources not available in the target sub-account, they will display a red border and an error message such as “error while loading data.” You can either delete these widgets or reconnect them to valid data sources in the new sub-account.
