About Prospect Report Layout Customization
Prospect Report Layout Customization allows you to personalize the structure of your Marketing Audit Reports within the CRM. Customizing your report layout helps ensure your Prospect Reports present information in a way that supports your sales conversations and client priorities.
- Control the Narrative: Arrange sections in a logical order that guides prospects through your sales pitch
- Highlight Key Insights: Move important sections like Overall Score or SEO Analysis to prominent positions
- Remove Irrelevant Data: Hide sections that aren't relevant to your specific prospect or service offering
- Maintain Consistency: Set a global default for standardized reporting across all clients
- Flexible Adjustments: Customize individual reports without changing your default template
- Consistent Output: Section order and visibility apply to both web reports and exported PDFs
Setting a Global Default Layout
The global layout becomes the default structure for all new Prospect Reports, ensuring consistency across your agency's presentations.
Access Global Layout Settings
To configure your default report layout:
- Navigate to Marketing
- Select Prospecting
- Click Prospect Accounts
- Open the Settings tab
- Select Report Settings
This opens the Customize Report Layout panel where you can manage section visibility and order.
Adjust Section Visibility
By default, all report sections are enabled. Uncheck any sections you want to exclude from your reports. You can re-enable sections at any time.
Reorder Sections
Use the drag-and-drop handles beside each section to arrange them in your preferred sequence. This allows you to guide prospects through insights in a strategic order.
Save Your Global Layout
Click Save to make your structure the default for all future reports. Note that previously customized reports will not automatically update to match the new global layout.
Customizing an Individual Report
When you need a different structure for a specific prospect, you can customize that report without affecting your global settings.
Access Report-Specific Controls
To customize a single report:
- Open the desired Marketing Audit Report
- Click Sections in the top-right corner
- In the Sections panel, check or uncheck sections to control visibility
- Drag sections to reorder them
- Click Apply to confirm changes
Changes made here affect only the current report, leaving your global layout unchanged.
Verifying Your Changes
After making layout changes, you may need to refresh the report if changes aren't immediately visible. You can also export the report as a PDF to confirm the structure is consistent with your preferences.
Note that some report improvements are applied through backend processing. Existing reports may need a manual refresh before updated results appear.
