How to Resell Listings to Your Clients
Overview of Reselling Listings
Reselling Listings is a feature that allows your agency to offer directory listing management as a subscription service to your clients. This service automatically synchronizes your clients' business information across numerous online directories, which helps improve their local search visibility. You can resell this service using three different subscription terms and set your own pricing to create a new source of monthly recurring revenue.
Key Benefits of Reselling Listings
This reselling model provides several advantages for your agency:
- Recurring Revenue: Establish an additional, predictable monthly income stream.
- Pricing Flexibility: Set your own rates for the service to match your business model.
- Plan Options: Offer clients a choice of monthly, six-month, or annual subscription plans.
- Sub-Account Customization: Adjust pricing for individual client sub-accounts as needed.
- Easy Client Activation: Clients can activate the service directly from their own dashboard.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, you must connect your agency's Stripe account to the CRM. This connection is required to collect subscription payments from your clients for the Listings service.
How to Set Agency-Wide Listings Pricing
You can define a standard price that will be visible to all clients by default. A pricing slider allows you to set the rates and immediately see the estimated profit for each plan.
- From the main Agency View, select Reselling from the left navigation menu.
- Scroll down to the Listings section.
- Use the slider to set your desired price for each available plan.
- Review the displayed Client Pricing, Your Cost, and Your Profit information.
- Click the blue Save button to apply the new pricing.
How to Customize Listings Pricing Per Sub-Account
If you need to set a specific price for a particular client, you can override the agency-wide default for their sub-account.
- In the Agency View, go to Sub-Accounts from the left navigation.
- Find the desired sub-account, click the three-dots icon next to it, and select Manage Client.
- Navigate to the Reselling section and select Listings.
- Adjust the pricing slider to set a custom rate for this client.
How Clients Activate Listings
Once you have enabled the service, your clients can activate it themselves from within their sub-account.
- The client should log into their sub-account and go to the Reputation section from the left menu.
- They need to click on the Listings tab at the top of the page.
- They can then click the Activate Listings button.
- Finally, they will choose a subscription plan and complete the payment process.
Turn Off Listings for a Sub-Account
To disable the Listings service for a specific client, you can turn off their access and cancel their subscription.
- From the Agency View, go to Sub-Accounts and select Manage Client for the relevant sub-account.
- Navigate to Reselling and then Listings.
- Use the toggle switch to turn the Listings service Off for that client.
How Billing Works
The billing for resold Listings operates on two levels. Your agency is billed by the CRM platform, and you, in turn, bill your clients. Payments from clients are processed through your connected Stripe account.
