How to Set Contact Limits for SaaS Sub-Accounts

About Contact Limits

In SaaS mode, you can set a maximum number of contacts that sub-accounts can create manually through the CRM interface. This limit does not prevent contacts from being added through other methods like API integrations, web forms, or automated workflows—even if the limit is reached. It only restricts manual creation and bulk imports performed by users within the sub-account.

Configuring Contact Limits for a SaaS Plan

To apply a default contact limit to all sub-accounts using a specific plan:

  1. Navigate to the SaaS configurator.
  2. Choose the plan you want to edit and select ‘Edit Details’.
  3. Go to the ‘Usage Limits’ tab.
  4. Locate the ‘Contact limit’ option. By default, it is set to unlimited.
  5. Enable the Contact Limit toggle and enter the desired number.
  6. Select 'Save'.

This limit will apply to all new sub-accounts created under this plan, as well as existing ones that upgrade to it.

Setting Contact Limits for Individual Sub-Accounts

To customize the contact limit for a specific sub-account:

  1. Go to the Sub-accounts page from your agency dashboard.
  2. Select the sub-account you wish to modify.
  3. On the ‘Manage Client’ page, find the ‘Usage Limits’ section.
  4. Adjust the contact limit value as needed.
  5. Click ‘Save’ to apply the change.

Note: A limit set here overrides the plan’s default limit. If the sub-account changes plans later, the limit will reset to match the new plan’s configuration.
