Using Global Custom Colors for Brand Consistency

What Are Global Custom Colors?

Global Custom Colors are a centralized palette of brand colors that you can define and manage from your CRM's settings. Once saved, these colors appear as reusable swatches within the color picker tool across various builders in the platform, such as email editors, funnel builders, and form creators. This ensures that your team always uses the correct, on-brand colors without needing to remember or look up specific color codes.

Key Benefits

Using Global Custom Colors offers several advantages for maintaining a professional and consistent brand presence.

  • Brand Consistency: Apply the exact same colors to all your marketing assets, from emails to websites.
  • Efficient Updates: Change a color once in the global settings, and the update automatically applies everywhere that color is used.
  • Streamlined Rebranding: For agencies or businesses with multiple brands, you can quickly adapt designs for a new client or location by simply updating the global color palette.
  • Easy Access: Your saved colors are always available in the color picker for quick selection.

How Sync Behavior Works

Global Custom Colors feature two-way synchronization. This means that if you edit a saved global color, that change will be reflected in all existing designs where that specific color swatch was applied. This helps you manage brand updates confidently. It is important to note that the Global Custom Colors section will only appear in the color picker after you have created at least one color.

Adding, Editing, and Deleting Global Colors

You manage your Global Custom Colors from the Global Settings menu.

To Add a New Color

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Brand Boards > Global Settings.
  2. Click the + Add button and select Add New.
  3. Enter a descriptive name for the color (e.g., Primary Blue, Accent Green).
  4. Specify the color using a HEX code (e.g., #FF5733) or by using the color picker tool.
  5. Click Save.

To Edit or Delete a Color

From the same Global Settings page, you can manage existing colors.

  • To edit a color's name or value, click the edit (pencil) icon next to it.
  • To remove a color, click the delete (trash can) icon. Caution: Deleting a color will remove it from the picker. Elements that used that color may be affected depending on how the builder handles the removal.

Importing Colors from Custom Values

If you have already defined your brand colors as Custom Values, you can import them directly into your Global Custom Colors palette to save time.

  1. Go to Marketing > Brand Boards > Global Settings.
  2. Click + Add and then select Import.
  3. Select the Custom Values that contain your color codes and click Import.

Before importing, ensure your Custom Values contain valid color codes (like HEX values) and have clear names to make identification easy.

Using Global Colors in Builders

After you have saved at least one Global Custom Color, a dedicated section labeled "Global Custom Colors" will appear in the color picker within supported editors.

To apply a global color:

  1. Open a builder, such as an email, funnel page, or form.
  2. Select an element (like text, a button, or a background) that has a color setting.
  3. Open the color picker for that element.
  4. Click on the desired swatch from the "Global Custom Colors" section to apply it.

From the color picker, you may also see a Manage option that takes you directly to the Global Settings to make adjustments.
