Using Dynamic Text in Funnel Pages
Adding Dynamic Text to Funnel Pages
You can personalize the content of your funnel pages by using dynamic text. This feature allows you to automatically insert information from a contact's profile—like their first name, email, or custom field data—directly into the page's text elements.
How to Insert Dynamic Text
To add dynamic text to a text element on your funnel page:
- Navigate to the Funnel Builder and open the page you wish to edit.
- Click on any text block (like a paragraph or heading) to select it. This will open the text editor toolbar.
- Within the text editor, click on the icon that looks like a person's head and shoulders. This is the dynamic text button.
- A menu will appear listing available dynamic fields. These typically include standard contact fields like First Name, Last Name, Phone, and Email, as well as any custom fields you have created.
- Select the field you want to insert. The corresponding dynamic text tag (e.g.,
{{first_name}}) will be placed at your cursor's location in the text editor. - Save your changes to the text element and then publish the funnel page.
How It Works for Visitors
When a known contact visits the page, the CRM will replace the dynamic tag with the actual data from their contact record. For example, {{first_name}} will display the contact's real first name. If the visitor is not recognized or the field is empty for a contact, the tag will typically display blank or a default value, depending on your settings.
This functionality is perfect for creating personalized thank you pages, tailored offers, or any content where showing specific contact information enhances the user experience.
