Using the Updated Block Editor for Websites and Funnels

The CRM's Block Editor for building funnels and websites has been updated with a more intuitive design and powerful new text formatting tools. This guide explains the new features and how to use them to enhance your pages.

What's New in the Block Editor

The latest version of the Block Editor focuses on making manual text formatting faster and more flexible. Key improvements include:

  • Enhanced User Experience: A cleaner, more streamlined interface makes editing text within elements a smoother process.
  • Custom Fonts for Selected Text: You can now apply custom fonts directly from the editor to any text you highlight within a text block.
  • Subscript and Superscript Options: New menu items allow you to quickly format text as subscript or superscript.
  • Dedicated Bullet List Section: Managing lists is now more straightforward with a dedicated area for bullet points. You can choose from several built-in list marker styles:
    • Unordered Lists: Disc (●), Circle (○), Square (■)
    • Ordered Lists: Lower Alpha (a, b, c), Upper Alpha (A, B, C), Lower Roman (i, ii, iii), Upper Roman (I, II, III)
The option to use custom icons for list markers is still available for complete design control.
  • Simplified Interface: Certain paragraph formatting options have been removed to reduce clutter and improve usability.

Block Editor vs. AI Page Revisions

The Block Editor and AI Page Revisions serve different purposes. Here’s when to use each tool:

  • Use the Block Editor for quick, manual text edits within a single text element. This includes bolding, applying custom fonts, creating lists, and other inline formatting.
  • Use AI Page Revisions (found in the Funnels & Websites AI workflow) for making broader changes, such as rewriting an entire section's copy or updating the design style across a full page without altering the underlying layout.
