Locating Pipeline and Stage IDs for External Integrations

Finding Pipeline and Stage IDs

When connecting your CRM to external automation platforms like Zapier, you may need to reference specific Pipeline IDs and Stage IDs. This article explains where to locate these identifiers.

Primary Method: Export Opportunities

The most reliable way to obtain Pipeline and Stage IDs is by exporting your opportunities. An exported list will contain columns with the necessary ID values for each record.

Alternative Method for Opportunity ID

If you only need an Opportunity ID, you can find it in two places:

  • Open any opportunity. In the bottom-left corner of the window, you will see the Opportunity ID displayed as text resembling a link.
  • Alternatively, open an opportunity in your browser. The Opportunity ID is the final segment of the URL in the address bar.

Third-Party Platform Guidance: The instructions provided here are for general reference when working with external platforms. We offer direct support only for the CRM's native features and documented integrations.

Stage Name vs. Stage ID: For many actions, such as creating a new opportunity, providing the Stage Name is sufficient. You do not always need the Stage ID.

Common Uses for These IDs

These identifiers are crucial for advanced functionality:

  • Pipeline ID: Used to filter audit logs for changes made to a specific pipeline.
  • Opportunity ID: Used to track activity in audit logs, create direct links to a specific opportunity, or update records via bulk import.
  • Webhooks and APIs: All these IDs are commonly required parameters when setting up webhooks or using the CRM's API for custom integrations.
