Configure Your App Listing Type
When creating an app in the CRM marketplace, you must select a listing type that determines where and how your app is visible to agencies and their sub-accounts. This choice is made during the initial app creation process and affects your app's distribution and eligibility for installation.
Standard Type
Apps with the Standard listing type are visible to agencies and sub-accounts using the default CRM domain. However, these apps will not appear for agencies or sub-accounts operating under a white-label domain. This type is suitable if your app does not need to reach users on customized domains.
White-Label Type
White-label apps are visible to both standard and white-label agencies and sub-accounts, provided they match the app's distribution settings. To qualify as a white-label app, your application must not include any references to the underlying CRM platform in its name, description, properties, or on your company's website. Including such references will cause the app to be rejected during the marketplace review process. Only agencies and sub-accounts on white-label domains can install white-label apps. Due to their compatibility with both domain types, white-label verified apps generally achieve broader visibility and are recommended for maximum reach.
