Accepting In-Person Payments with NMI and Authorize.net in the Mobile POS

You can now process in-person payments directly from your mobile device using the CRM mobile app. This feature supports both NMI and Authorize.net payment gateways, allowing you to charge customers using saved cards on file or by entering new card details at the point of sale.

Prerequisites

Before you can accept payments in the mobile app, you must complete the following setup in the web version of your CRM:

  1. Log in to your CRM account on the web.
  2. Go to the Payments section and select Integrations.
  3. Connect and configure either NMI or Authorize.net as your default payment provider.

How to Accept a Payment Using the Mobile App

Once your payment gateway is configured, follow these steps to process a transaction:

  1. Open the CRM mobile app and select the appropriate sub-account.
  2. Tap on the POS tab to open the Point of Sale interface.
  3. Start a new transaction. You can either:
    • Enter a custom amount manually.
    • Or, select items from your product catalog.
  4. Link the transaction to a contact in your CRM.
  5. Review the transaction details and proceed to the payment step.
  6. Tap on Cards on File.
    • If the contact has a saved card, select it for payment.
    • If not, tap New Card to enter the card details manually.
  7. Tap Charge to finalize the payment.

The payment will be processed through your connected gateway. You have successfully completed an in-person transaction.
