Managing Active Transactions for Mobile Payments
What Are Active Transactions?
An active transaction is a sales record—like an invoice, estimate, or appointment bill—that has been created for a customer but has not yet been paid. The Active Transactions feature in the CRM's mobile app gathers all of these pending and overdue payments into a single, organized list. This makes it easy to see what money is owed to you and allows you to collect payments directly from your phone, helping you avoid missed revenue.
How to Use Active Transactions
Follow these steps to manage payments using the Active Transactions menu:
- Log in to your CRM mobile app.
- Tap the POS icon on the bottom navigation bar.
- Select the Active Transactions option from the POS menu.
- You will see a list of all due and overdue items, including estimates, documents, contracts, and appointment invoices.
- Tap on any item to review or edit its details.
- To collect payment, swipe left on the item or long-press it to reveal options, then tap Record Payment.
- Choose your payment method (such as Tap to Pay, a Stripe or Square reader, card payment, or cash) and complete the transaction.
Availability
The Active Transactions feature is available in the CRM mobile app version 3.102.0 and newer. To use it, ensure your app is updated to this version or later. All subaccount users with POS access can utilize this feature.
