Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect multiple Stripe accounts?
Each sub-account within your CRM can be connected to one Stripe account at a time. To use different Stripe accounts for different brands or businesses, you should connect a unique Stripe account to each separate sub-account.
What if I don't use Stripe?
Your CRM supports other payment gateways such as Authorize.net, NMI, Square, and PayPal, depending on the specific product area. You can also create and record manual, one-time invoices without connecting any gateway. For full payment reporting and automated receipt generation, connecting a supported gateway is required.
What permissions are needed in Stripe?
You must have administrative access or the appropriate permissions within your Stripe account to authorize the connection. If you cannot approve it, contact the owner of your Stripe account to adjust your user permissions.
Will my past Stripe payments sync after connecting?
No. The integration only tracks new transactions processed through your CRM after the connection is established. Payments made directly in Stripe prior to the connection will not be imported.
Can I test payments?
Yes. You can use Stripe's test mode to simulate transactions without processing real charges. Remember to switch your Stripe account back to live mode when you are ready to accept actual customer payments.
How are product details handled?
When a customer completes a purchase for a product created in your CRM, the product name, price, and transaction details are automatically sent to Stripe during the checkout process.
