Clone an Existing CRM Site
The site cloning feature allows you to quickly create a copy of an existing site built in your CRM, including all content, settings, and design elements. This is useful for replicating a successful site structure or creating variations without starting from scratch. Each cloned site operates independently, so changes to one do not affect the other.
Step 1: Access the Sites Dashboard
Log in to your CRM account and navigate to the Sites section. From there, select the option to create a new site.
Step 2: Start the Cloning Process
Look for the option to clone from an existing site, which may appear as a card or button labeled something like Clone using Existing Site or Choose From Existing Site. Click it to proceed.
Step 3: Choose and Configure the Clone
Select the sub-account and source site you want to clone from the dropdown menus. Then, enter a name for your new cloned site in the provided field. Click the Clone button to begin the duplication process. A progress indicator may show the status of the cloning.
Step 4: Review and Use Your Cloned Site
Once cloning is complete, your new site will be available in your Sites dashboard. It is a fully independent copy, and you can edit or manage it just like any other site.
Helpful Tips
User Permissions
Only users with specific roles—such as Agency Owners, Agency Users, or Account Users within the same sub-account—can access the site cloning feature. If you don’t see the option, check your permissions.
Troubleshooting
If the cloning option is not visible, ensure you have the correct user role and are logged into the appropriate account level. If the cloning process seems stuck, try refreshing the page or contact support for assistance.
