How to Resell WordPress Hosting to Your Clients

Prerequisites

Before you can resell WordPress hosting, you must first connect your agency Stripe account. This account will be used to collect subscription payments from your clients.

Connect Your Agency Stripe Account

To connect your Stripe account, navigate to your agency settings and follow the instructions for linking your payment processor. This ensures seamless billing between you and your clients.

Selecting Your Plan

You can choose from available pricing plans by going to the Reselling section in your agency left menu. Currently, a standard pay-as-you-go plan is offered, which charges your agency $10 per site per month. You can then resell this plan to clients at a price you set.

Setting Your Sales Price

Configure your agency-wide offer for WordPress hosting in the Reselling tab of your agency left menu. Here, you can define the standard price that will be presented to most clients.

Personalizing Offers for Specific Clients

If you want to offer a custom rate to certain clients, go to your Account List, search for the client, and view their details. From there, you can adjust the pricing specifically for that client.

Disabling Offers for Certain Clients

To prevent specific clients from seeing or purchasing your WordPress offer, navigate to your List of Accounts, search for the client location, view their details, and toggle off the Offer WordPress option. Note that this can only be done before a sale occurs; once a client has purchased, you cannot disable it from this menu.

How Clients Discover the Feature

Your clients can find your WordPress hosting offer in three ways:

• A one-time notification banner at the top of their screen, which disappears once dismissed.
• An item in their LaunchPad.
• By going to Sites in their left menu and selecting WordPress.

How Clients Complete the Purchase

After discovering the feature, clients can click the Get Started button to begin the purchase process. Clicking Continue will create the subscription, process payment, and redirect them to their WordPress dashboard.

How Billing Works

When a client purchases WordPress hosting, two subscriptions are created:

• One between the client's card and your Stripe account, allowing you to collect payment.
• One between your card and the CRM platform, charging your agency $10 per month per site.
