Embed Third-Party Media in Social Posts

Enhance Posts with Embedded Media

You can make your social media posts more engaging by embedding media content directly from popular third-party platforms. Instead of uploading files, you can use either a media link or embed code to include videos, podcasts, music tracks, or demonstrations in your posts. This saves time while making your content more dynamic and interactive.

Supported Platforms

You can embed content from these platforms:

  • Video: YouTube, Vimeo, Loom
  • Audio: SoundCloud, Wistia, Spotify, Mixcloud

For all supported platforms, you can use iframe embed codes.

How to Embed Media

Follow these steps to add embedded media to your posts:

  1. Navigate to the Post Edit Page in your CRM
  2. Select the "Upload Audio/Video" option
  3. Click on "Embed Media"
  4. Paste the embed code from your chosen platform
  5. The media will appear instantly in your post preview

This method works quickly for all supported platforms.

Obtaining Embed Codes

To get the embed code from a third-party platform:

  1. Find the media you want to embed on the source platform
  2. Look for a "Share" or "Embed" option (usually located near the media player)
  3. Copy the iframe embed code (it will begin with <iframe...)
  4. Paste this code into the Embed Media dialog on the Post Edit Page

Note: The width and height of embedded media are automatically adjusted to fit your post layout, so you don't need to modify the embed code.

Important: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to embed third-party content. Before embedding any media, confirm that:

  • The content is publicly available or you have permission to share it
  • You have the legal right to display the content
  • You are following the source platform's terms of service

Do not embed private content, licensed material without permission, or content marked as non-shareable.

Best Practices

  • Always preview your post to verify that embedded media loads correctly
  • Use official embed codes rather than shortened or redirected links
  • Educate your team about content licensing to prevent violations
