Sharing Social Planner Content Across Sub-Accounts via a Snapshot

Streamline Social Media Management Across Your Agency

Efficiently share and reuse social media content across multiple client accounts with the Snapshot feature. This powerful tool allows agency administrators to export social calendars from one sub-account and import them into others, saving time and ensuring consistency in your social media strategy.

How It Works in the Parent Sub-Account

The parent sub-account serves as the source of the social content you wish to share. This is where you'll create and prepare the content for distribution to other accounts within your agency.

  • Navigate to the Marketing tab and select Social Planner
  • Click on Create Post and choose Upload from CSV
  • Select the social media platform (required for CSV import creation)
  • In the CSV list view, you'll see various status indicators including In Progress (system processing the data) and Review and Schedule (data processed and ready for snapshot)

Creating the Snapshot in Agency Settings

Once your social content is prepared in the parent sub-account, you can create a snapshot to share it with other accounts.

  • Go to Agency Settings and select Snapshot
  • Choose to either Refresh the snapshot or Upload the snapshot
  • After selection, the system will display Social Planner CSVs that are in the Review and Schedule status

Importing Content in Child Sub-Accounts

Child sub-accounts are the destination accounts where you want to import the shared social content.

  • Navigate to Marketing > Social Planner > CSV (list view)
  • The Social Planner CSV from the parent location will appear in the list
  • Click on the CSV and select Select Social for scheduling the posts
  • The system will process the CSV for all selected social media platforms
  • Once processed, the CSV will show a Review and Schedule option where users can preview and import posts to their social calendar

This streamlined process enables agencies to maintain brand consistency and efficiently manage social media content across multiple client accounts without recreating content from scratch.
