Creating a Product for Membership Course Access

This guide explains how to set up a product in your CRM that, when purchased, automatically grants customers access to a membership course. This process eliminates the need for manual enrollment after each sale.

Understanding Course Offers

A course offer is a bundle of one or more membership courses sold at a fixed price. When a customer buys a product linked to this offer, they immediately gain access to all included courses without any additional steps.

Step-by-Step Configuration

Step 1: Navigate to Product Creation

From your dashboard's left menu, go to Payments. Hover over the Products dropdown in the top menu and select Products. Click the + Create Product button in the top right corner to begin.

Step 2: Enter Product Details

In the Product Information section:

Use the Include in Online Store toggle to control product visibility
Enter a product Title (required)
Add a Description with formatting options
Upload media files (recommended size: 1024×1024px, max 10MB)
Optionally enable product labels for badges or organization
Assign to a Product Collection using the dropdown

Step 3: Set Tax Options

Configure tax settings:

Select a Product Tax Code for automatic tax calculations
Choose whether to Include tax in prices
Optionally attach specific tax rates for manual tax handling
Set a Statement Descriptor for customer bank statements

Step 4: Configure Pricing

In the Pricing section:

Enter a Pricing Name for internal reference
Select pricing Type: Onetime or Recurring
Input the Amount (price)
Optionally add a Compare-at Price for discount displays
Select Currency
Enable Track Inventory if needed
Use Additional Options for advanced settings
Add a Price Description for internal context

Step 5: Link to Membership Offer

Locate the membership offer section in your product setup. Select the published membership course offer you want to attach to this product. This ensures purchasers automatically receive course access.

Step 6: Add Product Variants (Optional)

If your product has multiple options (like different sizes or colors), you can create variants with separate pricing and inventory tracking.

Step 7: Configure SEO Settings

Optimize your product for search engines by adding relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and custom URLs to improve visibility.

Step 8: Save Your Product

Review all settings and click Save. Your product is now ready for sale and will automatically grant course access to buyers.
