Creating and Managing Multiple Popups on a Single Page

What Are Multiple Popups?

The multiple popups feature allows you to create several independent popup windows on a single page within your funnel or website. Each popup can have its own content, design, and trigger condition, enabling you to present different messages based on specific user actions or timing, all without needing to create duplicate pages or custom code.

Benefits of Using Multiple Popups

Using multiple popups on one page offers several advantages for your marketing strategy.

  • Targeted Messaging: Show relevant offers or forms based on how a visitor interacts with your page.
  • Clean Design: Keep your main page layout uncluttered by revealing content only when it's contextually appropriate.
  • Increased Engagement: Capture leads at key moments, such as when a visitor is about to leave the page.
  • Simplified Management: Control all of your popups from one central location in the page builder.

How to Create a New Popup

You can add a new popup to any page in just a few steps.

  1. Open the desired page in the Site or Funnel Builder.
  2. Locate and click the Popup Settings button in the top navigation bar.
  3. In the sidebar that appears, click the + Create New Popup button.
  4. Give your new popup a descriptive name to identify it easily.
  5. To edit the popup's content, click the Edit (pencil) icon next to its name in the list. You can then build the popup's interior just like a standard page section, adding elements like text, forms, buttons, images, and videos.

Managing Your Popups

All popups for a page are managed from the Popup Settings panel.

  • Create: Use the Create New Popup button to add more popups.
  • Edit or Delete: Click the Edit (pencil) icon to modify a popup or the Trash icon to remove it.
  • Reorder: Drag popups using the two-line icon to change their display priority. A popup higher on the list will appear on top of others if they are triggered simultaneously.

Customizing Appearance and Position

Each popup can be individually styled and positioned to match your brand and goals.

  • Positioning: Set the horizontal alignment of the popup (e.g., left, center, right).
  • Styling: Customize the background, overlay, and content spacing using the same design tools available for page sections.
  • Sizing: Adjust the maximum width and padding for optimal display on desktop, tablet, and mobile views.

Setting Popup Triggers

Triggers determine when a popup is displayed. You can set a unique trigger for each popup.

  1. Select the desired popup from the list in the Popup Settings sidebar.
  2. Go to the Settings tab for that popup.
  3. In the Show Popup On dropdown, select a trigger type:
    • Delay: The popup appears after a set number of seconds once the page loads.
    • Exit Intent: The popup is triggered when the system detects a visitor is about to leave the page.
    • None: The popup will only be shown when manually triggered by a click on a linked element.
  4. If you selected Delay, enter the number of seconds for the delay.

Linking Popups to Page Elements

You can configure buttons, images, or text links on your page to open a specific popup when clicked.

  1. Select the button, image, or text element on your page.
  2. In the element's settings, find the Link To dropdown menu.
  3. Select Open Popup from the list.
  4. Choose the target popup from the subsequent dropdown menu that appears.

What if two popups have the same trigger?

Can visitors close the popups?

Yes, visitors can typically close a popup by clicking the close (X) button or by clicking outside of the popup window, depending on your settings.

How can I track popup performance?
