Customizing Font Weight in Websites and Funnels
About Font Weight Customization
You can now precisely control the boldness of text across your websites and funnels. This feature allows you to select a specific font weight for various components, giving you greater design control over your page's typography. You can also set different weights for mobile and desktop views independently.
Available Components
The font weight setting is available for a wide range of components, including:
- Text components
- Buttons
- Category navigation elements
- FAQ sections
- Countdown timers
- Navigation menus
- Store components
- Image feature components
How to Set Font Weight
Access the Setting
Within the page builder, select the component you wish to edit. In the component's style settings panel, locate the options for typography. Below the font size control, you will find a dropdown menu labeled for font weight.
Choose a Weight
Open the dropdown menu and select your preferred font weight value from the list. The available options typically range from lighter weights (like 300) to normal (400) and bolder weights (like 700 or 900).
Set Responsive Weights
To apply a different font weight for mobile devices, switch to the mobile view using the view toggle in the page builder. With the same component selected, you can then choose a separate font weight from the same dropdown menu. This change will apply only to the mobile version of your page.
Apply Your Changes
After configuring your font weights, save your changes. To make the updates live on your published site or funnel, remember to publish the page.
Important Notes
Font Family Support
Not all font families support every available font weight. If you select a weight that your chosen font does not support, the text may not change appearance. The font will default to the closest weight it does support.
Interaction with Text Editor Formatting
The font weight option does not apply to text that has been manually bolded using the text editor's formatting toolbar. If you use the bold button in the editor, that formatting takes priority and will override any font weight selected in the component's style settings.
