Automatically Send Certificates for Quiz or Assignment Completion

You can configure your CRM to automatically issue a certificate when a contact successfully completes a quiz or assignment in your course. This is accomplished using the Workflow Builder to create an automation that triggers when a lesson is completed and then sends the certificate.

Setting Up the Automation

Follow these steps to create a workflow that sends a certificate upon successful completion.

Step 1: Add the Trigger

Begin creating a new workflow or editing an existing one. Click the Add Trigger button. From the list of available triggers, select Lesson Completed.

Step 2: Apply Filters to Specify the Quiz or Assignment

To ensure the certificate is only sent for a specific quiz or assignment, you must apply filters to the trigger.

• Product: Select the course that contains the quiz or assignment.
• Category: Choose the module or section where the quiz or assignment is located.
• Lesson: Select the specific quiz or assignment that must be passed.

Step 3: Add the Issue Certificate Action

Click the + icon below the trigger to add a new action. From the list of actions, choose Issue Certificate. A configuration panel will appear where you can select the certificate template you wish to send.

Once you save the workflow, the system will automatically send the selected certificate template whenever a contact passes the specified quiz or assignment.
