Getting Started with the New Workflows Onboarding Experience
Welcome to the Redesigned Workflows Landing Page
New users are now greeted with a simplified, guided onboarding experience on the Workflows landing page. This updated interface is designed to help you understand and build automations faster, with personalized content and multiple ways to get started.
AI-Powered Workflow Creation
At the top of the page, you'll find the AI Builder, which allows you to create workflows by describing what you want to automate in plain language. Simply type a description of your process into the "What do you want to automate?" prompt, and the AI will generate the workflow for you. Quick-start suggestions are also provided below the input field to help you begin even faster.
Note: The Workflow AI Builder is enabled by default for all agencies. If you do not see it, the feature may be disabled at the agency or location level.
Tailored Experience Based on Your Business
When you first access Workflows, you will be prompted to select your business niche (industry). Based on your selection, the platform customizes the examples and suggested templates you see. Pre-built workflow templates are available for popular industries such as Education, Health, Finance, and Real Estate. These templates provide a foundation for common automation scenarios relevant to your field. A "View All Templates" link is also available on the landing page for browsing all available options.
New Layout with Integrated Learning
The landing page now features a "Learn About Workflows" section with on-page tutorial videos. You can watch introductory videos or browse and launch templates directly from the page without navigating away. This consolidated layout puts templates and learning resources at your fingertips.
Drag and Drop Workflow Building
Within the workflow editor, you can now add steps more quickly by using drag and drop. Open the Triggers or Actions sidebar, click and hold an item, and drag it onto the workflow canvas. A highlighted placeholder will indicate where the step will be inserted when you hover over a valid drop target. Remember to save your workflow after adding steps; if you exit without saving, the dragged item will not be added.
Managing AI Builder Availability
If you need to control the availability of the AI Builder feature, you can disable it at different levels:
- Agency Level: Go to Settings > Labs and disable Workflow AI Builder. This affects all sub-accounts.
- Location Level: Go to Automations > Global Workflow Settings > Workflow AI and toggle off AI Builder for a specific location.
Agency owners will see a confirmation pop-up when visiting a sub-account that has AI Builder enabled, which includes a quick option to disable it for that location.
