Workflow Trigger - Group Access Revoked
Overview
The Group Access Revoked trigger allows you to automate actions when a user loses access to a specific group within your CRM's community features. This helps maintain orderly group interactions by automatically responding to access changes.
Trigger Name
Group Access Revoked
Trigger Description
This trigger activates whenever a user's permission to participate in a particular group is removed. When triggered, it can initiate automated follow-up actions like sending notifications or updating contact records.
How to Configure
Navigate to the Workflow Builder
Open the Workflow Builder from your CRM dashboard.
Create a New Workflow
Click Create a Workflow and select Group Access Revoked as your trigger type.
Configure Trigger Details
Specify which group's access revocation should activate this workflow. Then build out the automated actions you want to occur, such as sending an email notification or updating a custom field.
Test Your Workflow
Verify your workflow functions correctly by testing it with a sample user before full implementation.
Save and Activate
Once testing is complete, save your workflow and toggle it to active status.
Example
If a member repeatedly shares promotional content in a discussion-focused group, you could create a workflow that automatically revokes their access to that group. The workflow could then send them an email explaining why their access was removed and which community guidelines were violated.
