How to Clone and Share Super Agents Using Snapshots
What Are Super Agents in Snapshots?
Super Agents are advanced AI configurations built in your CRM that can be packaged and shared across multiple accounts using Snapshots. This allows agencies to deploy pre-built, proven AI agents to clients or locations without manually recreating them each time. When included in a Snapshot, the agent’s structure, settings, connected knowledge bases, and version state are preserved for consistent performance.
Key Benefits of Using Super Agents in Snapshots
Packaging Super Agents into Snapshots offers several advantages for scaling and efficiency:
- Faster Deployment: Quickly onboard new clients by deploying ready-to-use agents instead of building from scratch.
- Consistency: Ensure uniform AI behavior, prompts, and capabilities across all accounts.
- Scalability: Distribute one or multiple agents to numerous subaccounts or locations effortlessly.
- Streamlined Updates: Modify an agent once in the source account, refresh the Snapshot, and push changes to linked accounts.
- Reusable Templates: Share configured agents via Snapshot links or include them in broader account templates.
What Gets Transferred with a Super Agent?
When you create a Snapshot containing a Super Agent, the following elements are preserved:
- Agent flow structure and node configurations
- Prompts, instructions, and triggers
- Skills and capabilities
- Connected knowledge bases (if included in the Snapshot)
- Agent version state (Draft, Staging, or Production)
Note: Snapshots transfer configuration assets only—not live data, integrations, or credentials. Always review dependencies (like knowledge bases or workflows) and include them in the Snapshot if the agent relies on them.
Selecting Super Agents in the Snapshot Asset Selector
During Snapshot creation, refresh, or loading, Super Agents are listed under the Agent Studio category in the asset selector. You can expand this category to choose specific agents for inclusion. This selector is used when:
- Creating a new Snapshot
- Refreshing an existing Snapshot
- Loading a Snapshot into a subaccount
- Pushing selected assets to linked accounts
You can select individual assets rather than loading everything in the Snapshot, giving you flexibility in deployment.
Conflict Checking When Loading Super Agents
When loading a Snapshot into a subaccount, conflict checking helps identify potential overlaps with existing assets. You’ll see two options:
- Proceed to check conflicts: Review conflicts before applying changes.
- Proceed without conflict check: Load the Snapshot immediately without review.
It’s recommended to use conflict checking when loading into active subaccounts to avoid unintentionally replacing existing configurations. During conflict review, expand the subaccount to see identified items and select which assets to apply.
Refreshing a Snapshot After Updating a Super Agent
Snapshots do not update automatically when changes are made to the source agent. To capture updates:
- Modify the Super Agent in the original subaccount.
- Go to Agency View > Account Snapshots.
- Find the Snapshot and click its Refresh icon.
- Expand Agent Studio and select the updated Super Agent.
- Include any new or modified supporting assets.
- Click Refresh and wait for the process to complete.
After refreshing, use loading or push-update workflows to distribute the changes. Updates pushed from an agency Snapshot are available to linked subaccounts; external recipients may need an updated shared Snapshot.
How to Set Up Super Agents in Snapshots
Create a Snapshot That Includes a Super Agent
Start by ensuring your Super Agent is properly configured in the source subaccount. Review its dependencies, such as knowledge bases or workflows, and note which supporting assets need inclusion. Then:
- Navigate to Agency View > Account Snapshots.
- Click Create Snapshot.
- Expand the Agent Studio category in the asset selector.
- Select the Super Agent and any required supporting assets.
- Complete the Snapshot creation process.
Load the Super Agent into Another Subaccount
To deploy the agent:
- Go to the destination subaccount.
- Access Agency View > Account Snapshots.
- Locate the Snapshot and choose Load.
- Select the Super Agent from the asset list.
- Choose whether to check for conflicts, then proceed with loading.
Verify the Super Agent in the Destination Subaccount
After loading, review the agent’s settings in the destination subaccount to ensure all configurations, knowledge bases, and dependencies transferred correctly. Test its functionality to confirm it operates as intended.
