Sharing Blog Content Across Sub-Accounts Using Snapshots
Easily Share Blogs and Posts Across Your Sub-Accounts
Using the Snapshot feature, you can efficiently copy an entire blog—including its posts, categories, and author information—from one sub-account to another. This is ideal for agencies that want to replicate blog content across multiple client accounts.
Step 1: Prepare the Blog in the Source Sub-Account
First, you need to create and configure the blog in the sub-account that will act as the source.
- Navigate to the Sites tab and select Blog.
- Click Create New Blog.
- Fill in the necessary details like the blog name, image, and a brief description in the SEO Meta section.
- Connect the blog to a domain.
- Customize the blog's design and style as needed.
- Create new blog posts, assign categories and authors, and ensure the posts you wish to share are published.
Step 2: Create a Snapshot in Agency Settings
From the agency level, you will create a snapshot containing the blog data.
- Go to the Agency view and select Snapshots.
- You can either Refresh the snapshot or Upload the snapshot. Please refer to the specific guides for these actions.
- When you expand the snapshot, a list of available blogs from your sub-accounts will appear. Select the blog you prepared in the previous step.
Step 3: Apply the Snapshot to a Target Sub-Account
The target, or child sub-account, is where you want to import the blog content.
- Navigate to the target sub-account.
- Go to Sites > Blogs.
- You will see the imported blog listed with a status of Draft.
- Note: The draft status indicates that you must configure the domain details for the blog within this sub-account. Once you add the domain information, you can publish the blog and all its associated posts.
