Adding Audio to Course Lessons
You can enhance your course lessons by uploading audio files, providing learners with a flexible, alternative way to consume your content.
How to Add an Audio File to a Lesson
To add an audio lesson, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Memberships > Courses.
- Select a course and open the specific lesson you want to edit.
- Within the lesson editor, look for and select the option to add Audio.
- Upload your audio file. You can use this audio as the sole content for the lesson or combine it with text.
- Once uploaded, publish the lesson to make it available to your students.
Supported Audio Formats
The CRM supports common audio file types to ensure broad compatibility. You can upload files such as:
- MP3
- AAC
- WAV
Uploaded audio is optimized for playback on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones, allowing your learners to access content from any device.
Automatic Thumbnails
Audio lessons will automatically use the lesson's existing thumbnail image. This helps maintain a consistent visual presentation across all your course materials.
Learner Playback Controls
Students have several options to customize their listening experience when playing an audio lesson, including the ability to adjust the playback speed.
Note: Features like snapshot and cloning for audio files are not currently available but are planned for a future update.
