Connect Your Google Calendar to the CRM

About Google Calendar Integration

Integrating your Google Calendar with the CRM allows for smooth two-way synchronization of events and appointments. This connection helps manage availability, prevent scheduling conflicts, and keep your calendar updated across both platforms in real time.

Benefits of Connecting Google Calendar

  • Events created in either platform sync automatically to the other.
  • Prevent double bookings by using conflict calendars.
  • Each user can connect their personal calendar for individualized scheduling.
  • If the connection is temporarily lost, appointments sync automatically once reconnected.
  • Switching or adding a calendar triggers a resync of upcoming events.

Before You Begin

Ensure you have:

  • A valid Google account.
  • Access to calendar settings in your CRM user profile.
  • The calendar you intend to connect should not have conflicting sharing permissions.

Note: Calendar integrations are set up per user, not at the company level. Each team member should connect their own Google Calendar.

How to Connect Google Calendar

Step 1: Open Calendar Connections

In your sub-account, use the left navigation to select Calendars. Click Calendar Settings in the upper right, then go to the Connections tab. Click + Add New to start.

Step 2: Authenticate with Google

Click Connect next to Google Calendar. Choose the Google account you wish to use and grant all requested permissions, including calendar read/write access and profile/email information.

Important: Full calendar access is required for proper syncing. If permissions are only partially granted during setup, syncing may fail. You can check for permission warnings under Settings → Integrations → Google and use Reconnect to add any missing permissions.
