Managing the Rentals Feature for Your Locations

Overview

The Rentals feature is a specialized scheduling system within the CRM designed for businesses that manage bookable assets such as vehicles, equipment, or properties. This feature allows you to handle availability, inventory, multi-day bookings, and pricing from a single interface. As an agency administrator, you control which of your client locations have access to this functionality.

Enabling or Disabling Rentals for a Single Location

While Rentals is enabled by default for new locations, you can manage its status for existing sub-accounts from your agency settings.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Sub-Accounts: From your agency dashboard, click on the Sub-Accounts tab in the left navigation menu.
2. Access Location Management: Find the specific sub-account (location) you wish to modify. Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) on that sub-account's panel and select Manage Client.
3. Toggle the Rentals Feature: Inside the management view, select Calendar Settings from the top navigation. You will find a toggle to turn Rentals on or off. Click the blue Save button to apply your change.

Managing Rentals for Multiple Locations at Once

You can efficiently enable or disable the Rentals feature for several locations simultaneously using a bulk action.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Sub-Accounts: From your agency dashboard, go to the Sub-Accounts section.
2. Select Locations and Initiate Bulk Action: Use the checkboxes to select all the sub-accounts you want to update. Then, click the Bulk Actions button in the upper-right corner and choose Setup Calendars from the dropdown menu.
3. Configure and Confirm: In the setup panel that appears, use the toggle to turn Rentals on or off for all selected locations. To finalize the change, type CONFIRM into the provided field and click the blue Save button.

Verifying the Feature Status

To check if Rentals is active for a location, navigate within that sub-account to Calendars → Calendar Settings. If the Rentals feature is enabled, you will see a dedicated Rentals tab in the settings menu.
