Connecting Your Facebook Business Account to the CRM Ad Manager

To run Facebook ad campaigns through your CRM, you must first connect your Facebook Business account. This process grants the CRM the necessary permissions to access and manage your Facebook Pages and ad accounts.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have an active Facebook Page. You must also be an administrator of the Facebook Page you wish to connect.

How to Connect Your Account

To initiate the connection:

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Ad Manager in your CRM.
  2. Click the Connect Now option.
  3. You will be redirected to Facebook. Enter your Facebook username and password to log in.
  4. Review and grant all the requested permissions to the CRM application. Ensure all toggles are enabled and checkboxes are selected.
  5. If you manage multiple Facebook Pages, you will be prompted to select the specific Page you want to connect to the CRM.

Once the permissions are granted, your Facebook Business account will be successfully linked.

Troubleshooting: Page Not Found During Connection

If your desired Facebook Page does not appear as an option when connecting, it is usually due to insufficient permissions. You must be an administrator of the Page for it to be available.

To check or assign admin privileges for a Facebook Page:

  • If your Page is standalone, manage admin roles in the Page Setup section of your Facebook Page's professional dashboard.
  • If your Page is part of a Meta Business Suite portfolio, manage admin roles by going to Settings > Accounts > Pages within the Meta Business Suite.

Note: If the Page is owned by a different Meta Business Manager account, you will need to contact an admin of that account to be granted access.

Verifying Integration Permissions

For the CRM Ad Manager to function correctly, it requires specific permissions. To review and adjust these permissions directly on Facebook:

  1. Log into the Facebook account where your Page was created.
  2. Click the dropdown arrow in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
  4. From the left-hand menu, click Business Integrations.
  5. Locate the CRM integration from the list (check both the Active and Removed tabs if necessary).
  6. Click View and edit next to the CRM's permissions.
  7. Ensure the following permissions are toggled ON or checked:
    • Manage your business
    • Access leads for your Pages
    • Show a list of the Pages you manage
    • Manage ads for ad accounts that you have access to
  8. Click Save to confirm any changes.

Important: Revoking any of these mandatory permissions will disconnect your Facebook account from the CRM. You will need to reconnect before you can create or edit ad campaigns. Existing live campaigns will continue to run.
