Using the Ad Manager Template Library
Accessing the Ad Manager Template Library
Within the agency view of your CRM, you can access a collection of pre-built ad templates. Navigate to the Template Library section, where you will find a dedicated tab labeled Ad Manager. Here, you can browse and filter available templates by their campaign objective, such as Lead Generation or Website Traffic.
Benefits of Using Ad Templates
Utilizing the template library offers several advantages for building your ad campaigns:
- Efficiency: Jumpstart your campaign creation with pre-designed layouts, saving the time and effort of starting from a blank slate.
- Professional Quality: Templates include high-quality stock images and sample copy, providing a solid foundation for a polished and consistent brand presentation.
- Ease of Use: The interface is straightforward. You can preview templates and filter them to match your specific campaign goals before making a selection.
- Customizability: Every template is a starting point. You retain full control to modify images, colors, text, and other elements to align the design with your unique brand identity.
- Cost-Effectiveness: Access professional ad designs without the expense of custom graphic design work, making effective advertising more accessible.
Creating a Campaign from a Template
Follow these steps to launch a new ad campaign using a template:
- From the main Ad Manager screen, click the Create Campaign dropdown button.
- Select the option labeled Ad Manager Templates.
- A window will open displaying the available templates. Select one to preview it.
- Click Continue to apply the template and begin the campaign setup process.
The system will generate a new campaign with many details pre-filled. You can review all settings, and if the objective is Lead Generation, you will need to assign a Facebook form. Once configured, you can proceed to publish the campaign.
Important Note: When a campaign is created from a template, two key items are not automatically assigned and must be set manually before publishing:
- Facebook Page: The new campaign will not have a Facebook Page linked initially. When you click to edit the campaign, the system will assign your default page. You can change this selection if needed.
- Lead Form: For Lead Generation campaigns, you must manually select the specific form to use with the ad.
Saving an Existing Campaign as a Template
If you have a successful campaign that you'd like to reuse as a blueprint for future efforts or share across sub-accounts, you can save it to the Template Library.
- From your list of existing campaigns, locate the campaign you wish to save.
- Click the ellipsis (...) menu for that campaign and select Upload to Template Library.
- In the dialog box that appears, provide a name for your new template and assign it to a category. Categories help organize templates. If a suitable category doesn't exist, you can create new ones in the Template Library settings.
- Click Upload. The campaign will be saved as a draft template.
- After uploading, a screen will open showing the draft template. You can make any final modifications here, then choose to save it as a draft or publish it immediately for use.
