Accessing the Manual Actions Page
To open the Manual Actions page, navigate to Conversations → Manual Actions in the main menu.
Getting Started with Tasks
Click the blue Let’s Start button to begin processing your task queue. As you work, you can log call outcomes or SMS replies in the side panel. For each task, you can mark it as Complete, Skip, or Re-queue.
Understanding the Layout
The page features a collapsible sidebar on the left for filters and a wider main area on the right that displays your task list. Key details like the contact's name, phone number, task type, and the date the task was added are clearly visible. The design uses consistent colors, fonts, and icons for a seamless experience.
Using Filters to Organize Your Queue
Filters help you manage your workload by showing only the tasks that meet your criteria. You can filter by:
- The workflow or campaign that created the task
- Task type (Call or SMS)
- Status (Yet to Call, Completed, Skipped)
- The user the task is assigned to
Your filter choices are automatically added to the page's URL. This means you can bookmark the page or share the link with a colleague, and they will see the exact same filtered view.
Sharing Task Queues
To share a filtered task list, simply copy the URL from your browser's address bar and send it to a teammate or manager. When they open the link, they will see the queue with your filters applied.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Manual Actions page located?
You can find it under Conversations → Manual Actions. It is available on both the web platform and the mobile app.
What task statuses are available?
Tasks can have one of three statuses: Yet to Call, Completed, or Skipped.
Can I reassign multiple tasks at once?
Yes. Use the checkboxes to select the tasks, click the Bulk Actions button, and then select Assign User.
Do URL filters work on mobile?
Shared links will open the queue in the mobile app if possible. If the app cannot handle the link, it will open in your mobile browser instead.
Does the new interface affect my existing tasks?
No. All of your tasks, along with their notes and history, remain unchanged. Only the visual design of the page has been updated.
How do I clear all filters?
Click the Reset Filters option in the sidebar. Alternatively, you can remove the query parameters from the URL and reload the page.
Is there a keyboard shortcut to move to the next task?
Yes. With a task selected, press the Enter (or Return) key to start the next task in the queue.
Do my filters sync across different devices?
Since the filters are part of the URL, opening the same link on any device will show you the same filtered queue.
