Creating New Snapshots in CRM
What is a Snapshot?
A snapshot in CRM is a reusable template that captures the complete configuration of a sub-account, including workflows, funnels, calendars, forms, campaigns, custom fields, and more. This allows you to replicate successful setups across multiple client accounts efficiently.
Note: You do not build a snapshot directly. Instead, you first configure a sub-account and then create a snapshot from that account.
Key Benefits of Snapshots
- Save Time: Quickly deploy repeatable configurations.
- Ensure Consistency: Maintain uniform setups across clients or industries.
- Enable SaaS Offers: Use pre-built account templates for SaaS plans.
- Selective Asset Control: Include all assets or choose specific ones as needed.
How to Create a Snapshot
Step 1: Access Account Snapshots
From the Agency View, click Account Snapshots. Then, click the blue + Create New Snapshot button located in the top right corner.
Step 2: Name the Snapshot and Select Sub-Account
Enter a descriptive name for the snapshot (e.g., “Spa Funnel Setup”) and select the sub-account that contains the assets you want to capture.
Step 3: Choose Assets to Include
You will see a list of all assets available in the selected sub-account. Click Select All to include everything, or expand each category using the + icon to choose individual assets. Once you have made your selections, click Create.
Note: If any assets fail to load during this step, a Retry option will appear. Clicking it will reattempt fetching the incomplete categories without requiring you to restart the snapshot creation process. This is particularly useful when dealing with a large number of assets or intermittent load delays.
Including LinkedIn Campaigns
You can include LinkedIn campaign structures in a snapshot. Navigate to Marketing assets → Ad Campaigns – LinkedIn. Select specific campaigns or choose Select All (which shows Selected/Total). CRM preserves the full hierarchy: Campaign Group → Campaign → Ad.
Note: Lead Gen Forms are not included in snapshots.
Note: Associations between CRM objects are automatically included in snapshots as long as both objects in the relationship are selected. Contact-to-Contact associations are not supported at this time.
