Customize Template Library Filters for Sub-Accounts
Simplify Your Template Library
As an admin, you can streamline the template browsing experience for your sub-accounts by controlling which Types and Tags appear in their Template Library. By hiding irrelevant or internal filters, you maintain a clean, organized interface that aligns with your agency's branding and focus.
Understanding Types and Tags
Types and Tags are filtering tools in the Template Library that help categorize templates by purpose or descriptive attributes. Admins can toggle the visibility of these filters—hiding those not needed by sub-accounts while keeping essential ones active. When hidden, a filter disappears from sub-account views but remains visible to admins for reference. Templates linked to hidden filters stay accessible through search or other visible filters.
Benefits of Managing Filter Visibility
- Focused Navigation: Display only relevant filters to keep the library tidy and user-friendly.
- Faster Discovery: Reduce clutter so users find templates more quickly.
- Brand Consistency: Hide platform-branded or internal labels to deliver a seamless white-label experience.
- Flexible Control: Easily show or hide filters anytime without losing data or reassigning tags.
- Universal Access: Available to all admins with Template Library permissions, regardless of plan.
How to Manage Filter Visibility
Switch to Agency View
Use the account switcher to change from a sub-account to Agency View, granting access to admin-level settings.
Open Template Library
From the Agency Dashboard, select Template Library from the left-hand menu to view your template collection and management options.
Access Settings
Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the Template Library to open the settings panel, where you can manage Categories, Tags, and Types.
Select Tags or Types
In the settings sidebar, choose Tags (descriptive labels) or Types (purpose-based groups) to edit.
Adjust Visibility
Find the Hide column beside each filter. Use the toggle switch to hide (off) or show (on) the filter for sub-accounts. Changes take effect immediately.
Tip: Start by hiding internal or rarely used filters to simplify the sub-account experience. You can always restore visibility later.
