How to Set Up the Import
Step 1: Access the Import Wizard
Navigate to Marketing → Affiliate Manager → Campaigns → Import to open the import tool.
Step 2: Connect Your FirstPromoter Account
Enter your FirstPromoter Account ID and API Key in the provided fields, then click Connect & Fetch. To locate these credentials in FirstPromoter, go to Settings → API & Webhooks, copy your Account ID, and generate an API Key with read permissions for affiliates and campaigns.
Step 3: Select Campaigns
Review the list of campaigns available for import. Use checkboxes to select the ones you want to migrate. The table displays details such as status, affiliate count, commission rules, and cookie duration to help you make informed choices.
Step 4: Set Preferences
Toggle Pending Commissions if you wish to include unpaid commissions. Select your preferred Payout Terms from the dropdown menu (e.g., Net-30) to define when imported commissions become due.
Step 5: Review Affiliates
On the Affiliate Management screen, review the list of affiliates. The tabs show Total, New, and Conflicts. For any email conflicts, compare affiliate details and choose to Merge (add affiliate data to an existing contact) or Skip (exclude the affiliate from import).
Step 6: Start the Import
Click Start Import to begin the process. A summary will display the number of campaigns, affiliates, and historical referrals queued. You can leave the page—the system will process the import in the background and notify you upon completion.
