Enabling and Reselling the Ad Manager Feature

Overview

The Ad Manager feature allows your agency to offer and manage advertising services directly within the CRM for your clients (sub-accounts). You can set your own resale price and control which clients have access, creating a new revenue stream from your service offerings.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you must have a Stripe account connected to your agency dashboard. This is required to process subscription payments from your clients for the Ad Manager service.

Enabling Ad Manager for Your Sub-Accounts

To make Ad Manager available to your clients, you need to enable it via the SaaS Configurator.

1. Navigate to the Agency view and select SaaS Configurator.
2. Choose your active SaaS plan and click Edit Details.
3. Go to the Addons tab and ensure the checkbox for the Ad Manager tile is selected.
4. Click Save to apply the changes.

There is no cost to your agency for enabling this feature.

Setting Up Reselling

You can choose to offer Ad Manager for free or set a monthly resale price.

Setting a Global Resale Price

1. Go to the Agency view and select the Reselling tab.
2. Find the Ad Manager section.
3. Indicate your intent to resell by selecting the Yes option.
4. In the Your Price field, enter the monthly amount you want your sub-accounts to pay. The default is $0.
5. Click Save.

This price will apply to all sub-accounts unless you set a custom price for a specific client.

Customizing Pricing for a Specific Client

1. From the Agency view, go to Sub-Accounts.
2. Select the client you wish to customize and click Manage Client.
3. Navigate to the Reselling tab.
4. In the Ad Manager section, enter a custom amount in the Your Customers Pay field.
5. Click Save.

Note: Price changes only apply to new subscriptions. Existing client subscriptions will remain at their current rate.

Offering Ad Manager for Free to a Client

To grant a specific client immediate access without charge:

1. Go to Agency view > Sub-Accounts and select the client.
2. Click Manage Client > Reselling Tab.
3. Under Ad Manager, check the box for Deploy Ad Manager Directly. This automatically sets the price to $0.
4. Click Save.

Disabling Ad Manager for a Client

To prevent a specific client from accessing Ad Manager:

1. Go to Agency View > Sub-Accounts.
2. Open the client's Manage Client > Reselling Tab.
3. Under Ad Manager, toggle the switch to the OFF position.
4. Click Save.

Note: This action only prevents future access; it cannot deactivate the feature for a client who has already purchased it.

Client Onboarding and Purchase Flow

Your clients can find and activate Ad Manager from their own account dashboard.

1. The client logs into their sub-account.
2. They navigate to Marketing > Ad Manager from the left-side menu.
3. Depending on your pricing, they will see one of two options:
   • An Activate Ad Manager for $X/month button if a price is set.
   • A Get Started button if the price is $0.
4. When they click the button, a subscription is created between their payment method and your agency's Stripe account, and they are guided through the Ad Manager setup process.

Billing and Subscriptions

For Agencies

Your agency is not charged for the Ad Manager feature. You only pay $0. You have full control to set resale prices for your sub-accounts.

For Sub-Accounts

Clients will be billed the resale price you have configured. To review billing details, go to your Agency Settings > Billing and locate the Ad Manager section to see what each sub-account is currently paying.

Final Notes

The Ad Manager feature is provided to agencies at no cost, creating an opportunity for monetization. Existing client subscriptions will continue uninterrupted under their current terms when you change your resale settings.
