How to Change a Location's Subscription Plan
About Changing a Location's Subscription Plan
If your agency uses a Pro Plan and manages a sub-account in SaaS mode, you can assign one of the available SaaS plans to that location. Once a plan is assigned, billing is managed through Stripe. You can enable a setting that allows sub-account administrators to upgrade their own subscription. To change a plan from your end, you must do so directly in Stripe.
Key Advantages of Plan Changes
Allowing plan upgrades or downgrades offers several benefits:
- Revenue growth: Clients can access more features when they need them, leading to potential upsells.
- Billing accuracy: Proration ensures fair charges or credits when switching plans.
- Feature control: Permissions adjust automatically based on the active plan.
- Churn reduction: Options to downgrade or offer discounts can help retain customers.
- Operational clarity: Clear plan categories and Stripe alignment prevent errors in available options.
