How to Create a White-Label Community

A white-label community allows you to offer a branded, members-only space for your clients or audience directly within your CRM. This guide walks you through the setup process.

Accessing the Community Feature

First, navigate to the specific sub-account where you want to build the community. From the main navigation, go to Membership and select Communities.

Configuring a Custom Domain (White-Labeling)

The key to a fully white-labeled experience is hosting the community on your own domain. This process is managed through the client portal settings.

  1. Within the community settings, locate and go to the Domains section.
  2. Here, you can add a custom domain or subdomain (e.g., community.yourbrand.com).
  3. After adding your domain, the system will provide specific DNS records (like a CNAME record). You must add these records to your domain's DNS settings with your domain registrar to point it to the CRM's servers.
  4. Once the DNS changes propagate, your community will be accessible at your custom web address, with no visible branding from the underlying platform.

Note: The community exists as a feature within a client portal, so domain configuration is handled in the portal's domain settings.

Creating and Managing Your Community

After your domain is set up, you can begin creating your community space. From the main Communities area, you can create new communities, manage members, and configure discussion areas, content, and permissions to align with your brand and goals.
