How to Dismiss Missing Information Alerts on Entity Profiles
About Dismissing Missing Information Alerts
You can now dismiss alerts for missing information fields on entity profiles that are not relevant to your business. This feature helps you customize which fields matter for your specific use case, such as ignoring social media URLs if your business doesn't use those platforms.
Benefits of Dismissing Alerts
- Cleaner Interface: Remove clutter by hiding alerts for fields that don't apply to you.
- Custom Control: Tailor the alerts to match what information is actually important for your business or agency.
- Accurate Scoring: Dismissed fields are excluded from profile completeness calculations, so your score reflects only relevant fields.
- Reversible Actions: If you change your mind, you can easily re-enable any dismissed field later.
How to Dismiss a Field
- Go to the profile of any entity (like a location or contact) in your CRM.
- Find the Missing Info section on the profile page.
- Click the Configure button on the Profile Health card.
- In the window that appears, select the fields you want to mark as not applicable.
- Confirm your selection. The alerts for those fields will disappear, and your profile score will update.
How to Re-enable a Dismissed Field
If you need to bring back a field you previously dismissed:
- Click the Configure button in the Missing Info section again.
- Find the field you want to re-enable and select it.
- Confirm your changes. The field will reappear in your alerts and be included in profile scoring.
How Profile Scoring Works with Dismissed Fields
When you dismiss a field, it is excluded from both the numerator and denominator of the profile completeness calculation. For example, if a profile has 10 fields total and you dismiss 2, the score is based on the remaining 8 fields.
