Setting Up Custom SaaS Subscription Pricing for Specific Clients
What Are Custom SaaS Subscription Prices?
Custom SaaS subscription prices allow you to offer unique pricing to individual clients without altering your standard SaaS plans. This feature is ideal for promotional offers, enterprise agreements, temporary discounts, or custom contract terms.
Custom pricing applies only when manually converting an existing sub-account to SaaS mode. It does not affect your publicly available SaaS plans or require creating separate payment products.
Benefits of Using Custom Pricing
- Maintain standard pricing while offering flexible terms to specific clients
- Create one-time promotional or contract pricing without affecting your SaaS configuration
- Keep all subscriptions tied to their original sub-accounts
- Automatically reuse existing custom pricing configurations when identical parameters are used
How to Set Up Custom Pricing
Step 1: Access the Sub-Account
From your agency view, navigate to Sub-Accounts and select the desired client account. Click the Manage Client button to proceed.
Step 2: Initiate SaaS Subscription
Open the SaaS tab and click Add a SaaS Subscription. Select your payment provider and choose an existing customer or create a new one.
Step 3: Configure Custom Pricing
On the Select Subscription Plan screen, click Create a Special Price under your desired plan. Enter the custom amount, select currency, and choose between monthly or yearly billing intervals. Click Save Price to confirm.
Note: Your original SaaS plan remains unchanged, and the custom price applies only to this specific subscription. The system may automatically reuse existing matching custom pricing configurations.
Step 4: Activate Subscription
Select the newly created custom price, review the subscription details, and click Continue or Activate. The sub-account will remain in its current location and activate with the custom pricing.
Reactivating Cancelled Subscriptions with Custom Pricing
When reactivating a cancelled subscription that previously used custom pricing, the payment modal now correctly displays the configured custom amount. This ensures consistent pricing during reactivation without requiring additional setup.
