Setting Up Reputation Management with the Onboarding Wizard

About the Reputation Management Setup Wizard

The Reputation Management Setup Wizard is an onboarding tool designed for new accounts. It provides a guided path to complete the essential configuration for collecting and managing customer reviews. The wizard appears automatically on the main Reputation Management page when you first access the feature and will close once you have finished its core steps.

Purpose and Benefits

This wizard simplifies the initial setup process, helping you activate key features quickly. By following its steps, you can establish a foundation for gathering reviews, automating responses, and showcasing feedback. It is intended to help you get started without needing to navigate multiple settings areas on your own.

Using the Setup Wizard

The wizard consists of a series of steps that lead you through the primary setup tasks. You can complete them in order or skip ahead, but the wizard will remain visible until all steps are finished.

Step 1: Connect a Review Source

Begin by linking a source where customers can leave reviews, such as a Google Business Profile or a Facebook Page. This connection allows your CRM to import reviews from that platform.

  • From the wizard, click the option to connect a review platform.
  • You will be taken to the Integrations section.
  • Select either Google or Facebook and follow the prompts to authorize the connection.

Create a personalized link you can send to customers to request a review.

  • The wizard will direct you to the Review Link settings.
  • Review or customize the generated link.
  • Copy this link to use in emails, text messages, or other communications.

Step 3: Send Your First Review Request

Practice sending a review invitation to a contact.

  • You will be navigated to the Review Requests page.
  • Select a contact from your list or enter details manually.
  • Choose to send the request via SMS or email and dispatch it.

Step 4: Configure AI Review Responses (Optional)

Enable the AI assistant to help draft and publish responses to incoming reviews automatically.

  • The wizard guides you to the Reviews AI settings.
  • Turn the AI feature on using the toggle.
  • Select your preferred response tone and rules for when to post.

Step 5: Create a Review Widget

Build a widget to display your positive reviews on your website.

  • You will be taken to the Widgets area.
  • Pick a widget style, such as a carousel or list.
  • Copy the provided code snippet to embed the widget on your site.

Step 6: Connect Additional Platforms

Explore connecting other available review platforms to gather feedback from more sources.

  • The wizard will return you to the Integrations page.
  • You can connect other supported platforms like Yelp, if applicable to your business.

Common Questions

Why can't I see the wizard in my account?

The wizard only appears for accounts that have not yet completed the initial Reputation Management setup. If your account is older or you have already configured reviews, the wizard will not be shown.

Can I restart the wizard after I close it?

No. Once you complete all the steps, the wizard closes permanently. You can still access all the configuration areas (like Settings or Widgets) manually through the main Reputation Management interface.

Do I have to enable the Reviews AI feature?

No, using AI for responses is optional. The wizard suggests it as a way to save time, but you can manage all review responses manually if you prefer.

Will using the wizard change or delete my existing reviews?

No. The wizard only guides you through setup steps. It does not modify, delete, or affect any review data you have already collected.

Which review platforms can I connect?

Google and Facebook are the primary platforms supported for connection. Additional platforms may be available depending on your location and account type.
