Setting User Limits for Sub-Accounts

As an agency administrator, you can control how many users can be added to your client sub-accounts. This helps you manage resources and align user access with the subscription plans you offer. You can set a default limit for all accounts on a specific plan, or override that limit for individual clients as needed.

Setting a Default User Limit for a Plan

You can configure a user limit that automatically applies to all new sub-accounts created under a specific SaaS plan.

  1. Navigate to the SaaS Configurator within your agency dashboard.
  2. Find the plan you want to edit and select the option to edit its details.
  3. Go to the Usage Limits tab.
  4. Locate the User Limit setting. By default, this is set to allow unlimited users.
  5. Enable the toggle to activate the user limit and enter the maximum number of users you want to allow for this plan.
  6. Save your changes.

This limit will now apply to any new sub-accounts created with this plan, or to existing accounts that upgrade to it. This limit only restricts the number of users that can be created at the sub-account level. You can still add an unlimited number of agency-level users to manage the sub-account.

Setting a Custom User Limit for a Specific Sub-Account

Sometimes you may need to set a different user limit for a particular client, overriding the default limit of their plan.

  1. From your agency dashboard, go to the Sub-Accounts page.
  2. Select the specific client sub-account you wish to manage.
  3. On the client management page, find the Usage Limits section.
  4. Here you will see the current user limit. You can update it to a new value.
  5. Save your changes.

Important Note: A user limit set directly on a client's management page takes priority over the limit defined in their subscribed plan. However, if that sub-account later changes or upgrades its plan, the user limit will be reset to match the limit configured for the new plan.
